Spoiler Warning for the Next Episode of The Walking Dead!
Things looked dire for Merle Dixon (Michael Rooker) on The Walking Dead’s midseason finale episode. The Governor (David Morrissey) had reunited Merle with his long-lost brother Daryl (Norman Reedus), and appeared ready to have them fight one another to the death. However, a just-released promo photograph from from the show’s return episode on Sunday, Feb. 10 on AMC – episode 3.09 ‘The Suicide King’, seems to contradict that scenario. It looks like Merle makes it out of the pit of doom relatively unscathed only to face-off with a hungry walker. It appears though that good ol’ Merle gets the best of the undead creature, bashing in it’s skull. (Remember, to kill a walker, you must destroy the braaaain!)
Also for your viewing pleasure, are a couple of shots that are pretty familiar, namely Andrea (Laurie Holden) at the sidelines of the brother vs. brother arena death match being restrained by one of the Guv’s minions, as well as a shot of Rick (Andrew Lincoln) who seems to be in Woodbury– going solo! All this and surely much more, on the next episode of the Walking Dead!
