Sons Of Anarchy Casting News: Donal Logue to guest in season 5-ending three-episode arc:

Notice that despite having her wallet and car stolen Gemma (Katey Sagal) still manages to be sporting some lovely bling on her finger? I’ve been keeping an eye out for this ring and finally, I have a nice shot of it on Gemma’s hand!
It’s unfortunate that Gemma’s again in a humiliating circumstance, though. It seems we are witnessing Gemma sailing straight for rock bottom even as son Jax (Charlie Hunnam) has things going ‘sideways,’ as the brief episode 5.07 description says.
The screen shots I have show Jax and Chibs (Tommy Flanagan) alone doing some night riding when a van pulls up alongside them and a disembodied hand reaches forth and discharges a semi-automatic round right at Jax. Jax, much like Bobby last week, goes sailing off his bike and off the road and the perps then stop the van, get out, and discharge more fire (presumably in his direction). EDIT/ My spouse who watches the show as avidly as I do–but with a better eye for certain detail–and says that he thinks ‘Chibs’ is gonna buy it via one of the guys in the van (who he thinks are the former “nomads”) but I say no, solely based on the new bit about the actor who portrays Chibs having a verbal dispute with showrunner Sutter on the set of Sons Of Anarchy episode 5.13 (season 5 finale)./ End Edit. It would be pretty effed up if Jax gets killed in this episode but given what an effed up season this one has been I’m not ruling anything out. Thus far, dear Mr. Teller has had more lives than a cat so I suppose the most responsible thing to to is just tune in on Tuesday day night and see how the whole thing shakes out.

In the latest guest-starring casting news, Donal Logue, most recently of the FX series Terriers, will play a ‘brilliant and dangerous U.S. Marshal named Lee Toric who is forced into retirement because of his history of violence’. More on that follows:
A friend of FX will join the already impressive roster of guest stars on Sons of Anarchy this season.
