American Horror Story – Episode 3.08 – ‘The Sacred Taking’ – Full Synopsis – Promo VIDEO SPOILERS
As Queenie decides her loyalties and delivers a warning, Fiona struggles against her ailing health and tries to figure out which of the girls the next Supreme might be. As Cordelia rallies the girls in the fight to stop Fiona, a panicked Misty Day arrives at the Academy, hunted by a dangerous but unknown new enemy… and accompanied by an unexpected ally. Convinced they’ve identified the next Supreme, Cordelia leads the girls in a rarely-performed ritual known as The Sacred Taking, which allows for the next Supreme’s ascension. The only hitch: it involves the selfless suicide of the current Supreme. And so a plan is hatched to convince Fiona to give up hope. Back at Cornrow Alley, the rivalry between Marie Laveau and Madame LaLaurie comes to a head as Marie enacts her horrible vengeance. Meanwhile, Joan punishes Luke severely for his involvement with the girls, and Nan tries to come to his rescue, but the intervention of another party leads to tragedy. As alliances shift and a love triangle forms, the Coven becomes aware of a new danger. Credit: FX

Location Clues – American Horror Story Season 4:
American Horror Story – Season 4 – Ryan Murphy talks location
American Horror Story Co-creator Ryan Murphy says that he won’t begin dropping hints about season 4 until episode 11, but he will say that, “It’s not contemporary.” He adds: “It’s either going to shoot in New Orleans or it’s going to shoot in Santa Fe.”
Interesting. Didn’t Jessica Lange used to live (or maybe still lives) in Santa Fe? Ryan Murphy did share ealier this year that the current location of American Horror Story: Coven in New Orleans was chosen to fulfill a wish of Lange’s that she live and work in Nola.
‘American Horror Story’: Ryan Murphy on the latest ‘Coven’ and what’s next for Madame LaLaurie — EXCLUSIVE
EW Interview with Ryan Murphy Excerpt:
Q: What can you say about Mme. LaLaurie’s future?
…Marie Laveau is going to make her life a living hell and she’s going to get her revenge…(she) can really make her pay over and over and over again and feel pain and yet not die… The next couple episodes are really grim and horrible for LaLaurie.
Q: So in the next episode is Queenie fully immersed in the voodoo witches?
RM: Yes, she’s trying to acclimate with that culture…it’s liberating but…she misses her friends over at the Robichaux house.
Q: I love that Spalding is tied up in a kimono.
RM: (Spalding) he does come back of course (so, picture that!). I think Spalding as a ghostly entity is almost more interesting than real life Spalding because he knows where (ALL) the bodies are buried.
Q: Cordelia has decided…they’re going to kill Fiona. Will the final episodes be plotting the death?
RM: Something happens in (episode 8) that is very eye-opening… for Cordelia which is… no matter how horrible she is, Fiona really is the strongest witch of them all… Fiona is so smart she’s going to know if her daughter is trying to off her…I feel something bad is in the works for Cordelia.
Q: We see Hank briefly in his hotel room surrounded by weapons. (What is his plan for the witches?)
RM: Well he’s planning a (BIG) doomsday event, which we deal with in our winter cliffhanger… in episode 309, just before the break. It’s a great episode called “Head.” Everything is about things that happen in the head. If you saw the cover of Entertainment Weekly, you can kind surmise what happens to Kathy Bates.
In EW’s cover story, we’ve got exclusive interviews with this season’s all-star trio Lange, Bates, and Bassett, plus AHS mainstays Sarah Paulson, Frances Conroy, Denis O’Hare and more veteran actors who have been seduced by the scary series. Murphy reveals his dream cast list for future seasons of AHS, gives us some scoop on season 4, and takes us through a deep dive of what’s coming up the rest of this season on Coven.
What can you say about the next episode?
It’s called “The Sacred Taking,” …a tradition that dates back to the 1600′s where…to protect other witches… a witch creates a sacred act of killing herself…Fiona’s not going to go there on her own accord so the other witches try and get to her.. to….

You tweeted a photo of Stevie Nicks on set filming her upcoming guest-spot. How did it go?
…She was great…we’re … going to try and have Stevie come back and do another episode…
