American Horror Story: Asylum Final Season 2 Ausiello Episode Spoilers!
Q: Got anything on American Horror Story: Asylum?
Ausiello: This Wednesday there is a pretty significant death, yet another wackadoodle wrinkle with regards to Kit and Grace’s baby and a major setback for Sister Jude. Also, the way is paved for Lana to slip out of Briarcliff — though to do so she will need to literally get past Dr. Thredson first! Oh, and Dylan McDermott out-icks last season’s crying masturbation scene.
The Ausiello spoiler (above) gives us more than might be gleaned from a first glance. First, a ‘pretty significant death’ on American Horror Story– ‘pretty’ significant qualifies it as not Sister Jude or Lana or Bloody Face or their son. Kit’s story does not seem over yet–he’s tied to too many characters. My guess is that that tonight’s death will be Grace (Lizzie Brocheré), already killed once and revived, she unwisely objects when the aliens come to take the baby (you knew they would) and pays for it with her life.
I have no idea what ‘extreme lengths’ the The Monsignor (Joseph Fiennes) will got to to silence Jude (Jessica Lange)–see official synopsis–but we’ve seen him murder twice, as well as collude with the late Nazi Dr. Arden and scheme to become Pope without regard to anyone’s welfare but his own. The devil was right: the Monsignor is ‘pious’–and he’s also a cold, calculating creep.
